That’s a good question. The Penta Laser Mouse communicates to your computer via a device called the RF Wireless Receiver or “Receiver” for short. About the size of a pack of gum, this little piece of equipment plugs into any available USB port on your computer. The reset button is used to get the Laser Mouse and the Receiver talking to each other. You shouldn’t have to reset the receiver unless the Laser Mouse stops functioning or when you want to change channels. 64 Different Channels Just like cable television, the more channels the better!
