How Does The Lake Of Fire And Hell Differ?
If i was going to guess i would say hell describes the levels of hell/sheol in which souls are tormented and the lake of fire is the pit in which these souls will be tormented for eternity as in the devil/that old serpent/satan will be chained and thrown in the lake of fire to burn for eternity.as the rich man found out when he was being tormented and saw the beggar sitting in the arms of abraham/heaven from across the great chasm between heaven and hell and begged the lord to send someone to warn his family to do everything they could to avoid being sent where he was hell.what is the other line they shall be eaten by worms and never die.(paraphrased) and the fire shall never be quenched.
