How does the Kumon Instructor lesson plan for my individual student?
1. Each student responds positively to success in meeting small, daily challenges. In lesson planning, the Kumon Instructor is closely tracking the students past assignment performance to insure the next assignment is at the right level –comfortable but a bit challenging. That is step 1 to maintaining each student’s motivation. 2. Once the level is right, then assignment size has to allow for the student to complete school work, activities and have some time to relax. Kids today are busy. Most daily Kumon homework assignments are geared for completion within about 20 minutes or less.
