How does the JTC advanced naturopathic doctor program compare to other schools?
JTC is unique in many ways. Our advanced program for first degree professionals (D.C., M.D., D.O.) allow students to attend our 27 month academic and clinical program, leading to the NMD degree while continuing a full-time practice and supporting family commitments. Students must attend lecture classes 4 days a month (Wednesday – Saturday) and complete clinical internship rotations at their convenience. Clinical internship rotations allow students to experience direct patient care with ND’s, MD’s, and DO’s in outpatient clinics and in-patient hospital environments. JTC also affiliates with leading universities in Florida, New York, Missouri, Texas, Idaho, Arizona and California, where we conduct classes on satellite campuses. Finally, prior to graduation, JTC focuses on preparing the NMD for national board examinations, new or expanded career opportunities, and updated business skills for preparation into the complex world of healthcare delivery services.
