How does the job competition work?

0

Employers and students choose each other through the job competition process. First, a date is selected by the Institute to begin posting jobs for the term. Then, each Thursday, jobs are posted at our offices and on our website. Students have until noon the following Monday to submit their resumes. Applications are forwarded to potential employers who select students to interview and rank. Students are notified by the Institute and informed of the time and location of their interviews. On job match day, the Institute makes offers to the students on behalf of the employers. Any offers that are refused are then made to the next highest-ranking student. Following job match day, placements are offered on an ongoing basis for the remaining students. This means that offers are made following each interview.
