For the Year Two Plan, three Workstreams were created looking at Service Delivery, Service Support and Data Management. The Workstreams comprised of personnel from across the Service who were tasked with identifying opportunities for change to start from April 2005. These proposals were put forward for consideration and were rated on their ability to meet the drivers for change within the Fire Service and also their financial impact. The IRMP team then put the recommended proposals into a draft Plan that goes through a process of refinement before being approved for public consultation. During the consultation process, we aim to get the views of as many people as possible on how we intend to change the way we work. This feedback will then be considered and where appropriate, the Plan will be amended. Once the Fire Authority has approved this version of the Plan, Services Managers will then start implementation from April 2005. It seems that a lot of the proposals in this years Plan are
