We have optimized NPR.org for the iPad to ensure that Flash-served assets are also available to iPad users. (Like the iPhone, the iPad does not support Flash; we have converted these assets to HTML 5 for the iPad.) With the iPad-optimized NPR.og, we are also introducing a new “docked” player at the bottom of the screen, in lieu of the pop-up player that appears when viewing NPR.org over a standard browser.
