How does the introduction of the National Health Services’ (NHS) Agenda for Change and Knowledge & Skills Framework (KSF) relate to HPC’s CPD Standards?

0

Our CPD Standards are not explicitly linked to Agenda for Change which was implemented in October 2004 nor linked to the Knowledge and Skills Framework. This is because we are a UK-wide regulator and we regulate healthcare professionals in a variety of settings including the NHS, private practise and education. Our CPD standards complement other frameworks whether profession specific, local or employer-based e.g. Lifelong learning is an important element of KSF which has similarities to CPD.
