How does the Internal/External Verifier Dashboard work (new in version 1.0.1.6B)?
The internal verifier dashboard provides a shortcut to candidates’ NVQs and units that have been signed off by assessors. External verifiers see a list of candidates’ NVQs and units that have been signed off by assessors and internally verified. A new menu is displayed in the navigation bar – ‘Verification’. Verifiers can access the appropriate dashboard from this menu. The dashboard lists candidates who have units or qualifications ready for verification. This does not prevent verifiers from conducting evidence sampling exercises for candidates who have not yet been signed off, but access to these candidates must be through the view progress link on the candidate NVQ page. The IV and EV dashboards display similar information. The ‘head’ icon appears beside candidates who are explicitly linked to an IV. Candidates who have not been allocated an IV will be visible to all IVs and the icon will not be displayed. This is currently not relevant to EVs, who can see all candidates in an organ
