How does the interconnection process work?
Interconnection with PRECO’s electric distribution grid is a simple 1,2,3 process: (1) Determine which system to install and complete the necessary forms listed in the “Interconnection Checklist”, accessible on PRECO’s Solar PV homepage (click here). (2) Submit all required documents along with any applicable fees, then PRECO will process your application for interconnection. (3) Upon approval of your application and installation of your system, PRECO will go to your location to perform an onsite inspection and install your new Solar PV meter. Occasionally, PRECO may be required to perform routine inspections to ensure your system is performing well and record any changes that may have been made.
