How does the installment plan work?
You may choose the installment plan at the time you register. You can choose this option on UTINK WebStudent (http://utlink.uth.tmc.edu). UTLINK is available from 8:00am until 9:00pm, Monday through Saturday. Options available are as follows: Academic students installments are divided into three (3) payments. Medical or Dental students installments are divided into two (2) or four (4) payments. Your first payment is greater because some fees are not installable. PLEASE NOTE: There is no installment plan for the summer academic term.
1) Students who would like to participate in the plan should enroll online at myPurdue. Terms available for the plan will be provided at the time that the enrollment occurs. 2) A finance charge of 1.5% of the amount deferred is required for each semester to participate in the Installment Plan. 3) Twenty-five percent (25%) of the amount due for tuition and fees and contracted housing charges must be paid by the payment due dates provided at the time of enrollment. The remaining fees, plus a 1.5% finance charge, will be paid in equal amounts over the course of the semester. 4) The initial 25% payment will need to be submitted online to enroll in the plan. Each subsequent installment should be paid by the due dates provided. As a convenience, participants may choose to schedule each installment payment in advance.
Information about the installment plan for the fall and spring semesters is available on the following link: http://essc.unt.edu/saucs/payment.htm#installment. A service fee charge of $12.50 per semester is added to your account for the use of the installment plan each semester that you utilize it.
