How does the installed cost of FieldTurf compare to a sod or seeded lawn installation?
It costs more……..but, this question poses a comparison which FieldTurf was not designed nor intended to compete. A sod or seeded landscape, without a sprinkler system installation, can be installed for less. But, over the life cycle of FieldTurf, all sod and seeded landscape will exceed “all-in” care and maintenance costs by 7 to 15 times. In fact, FieldTurf will pay for itself in comparison to a seeded landscape in less than 5 years. Furthermore, the installation can be financed as a regular home improvement or commercial property lease.
