How does the HISD Foundation raise money?
The HISD Foundation collaborates with area businesses and volunteers to sponsor a popular charity golf tournament each year, is the recipient of funds raised from the annual HISD State of the Schools Luncheon, engages support from former teachers and students through an annual mail campaign, and works with individuals who wish to name the Foundation in their will and/or make a gift of appreciated assets. The Foundation also works with other foundations for grant support.
