How Does the HDF Benefit Advancements in Other Disease Research?
We asked Carl Johnson whether the HDF ever funds research with the primary objective of answering scientific questions for related diseases…or whether they only fund research of primary relevance to HD. He answered that while research they fund is often known, up front, to be of relevance to other diseases, funding and research design is almost always for HD – specific benefit.
