How does the HCNN work?
Medication and medical device manufacturers are required by the FDA to issue Patient Safety Alerts for recalls and important safety notifications. When an Alert is issued via the HCNN, it is delivered immediately to prescribers within the network, notifying health care providers days or even weeks sooner than paper-based letters sent through the U.S. mail. You may access the Alert from an email notification sent from “HCNN@mail.vresp.com” by clicking on the Alert link or cutting and pasting the link into your browser.
