How does the handswitching pencil measure up?
The Electricator® handswitching pencil is ergonomically shaped and fully autoclavable. Its unique 3-wire design allows the cord to be more flexible and more reliable than its 5-wire counterparts. It has a one-year warranty and in case of failure, a replacement handpiece will be shipped overnight (if Delasco notified by 3pm CST the same day!). We know the frustrations caused by malfunctioning handpieces and have worked hard to bring you the pencil with all of the features you need without the hassles of unreliability. Do I have to switch to a different outlet jack when converting from Low to High or bipolar? No, the Delasco Electricator® has only one handpiece jack for all modes. Once your cord is plugged in, you select the mode you want to use by pressing the corresponding button on the faceplate of the unit. There is no need to stop, unplug, and plug in different cords.
