Once you locate a nonprofit organization that you would like to make a donation to, click the Make Credit Card Donation button and follow the step-by-step instructions provided. When you make a donation through the Greater Houston Community Foundation credit/debit card system, you can be assured that your charitable donation is 100% tax deductible and the organization is a legitimate nonprofit organization that is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. Greater Houston Community Foundation will process and distribute your donation to the nonprofit organization you have selected. If the nonprofit organization you have selected cannot or does not accept donations, Greater Houston Community Foundation will contact you to redirect your donation. If you decide not to pick another nonprofit organization, Greater Houston Community Foundation will select another that meets high standards of public accountability and works in the same area as the organization that you originally selected.
