What a lovely definition. The GOP intends to redefine the words “community organizer” into something synonymous with local trouble maker. This is a tried & true tactic based on the gullibility and laziness of the average American voter. It is akin to the swiftboat tactic which worked so well to combat Kerry’s strong point. His bona fide service to his country. Combined with his moral reawakening after the Vietnam War like the majority of Vietnam Vets…they put together a plausible story. Of course they failed to bring up what most or many of us now know that the Vietnam “War” (Conflict, officially) was started by Pentagon and NSA types with the phony “Gulf of Tonkin” incident. People are too lazy too think about the fact that we all applaud our community “organizers” that do things for our community that we are often too busy to do. The people who our hometown papers give awards to for turning empty lots into mini-parks or fighting for a new baseball field for kids…or putting groups
