The gassing module offers total gassing flexibility. While air, N2, O2 and CO2 can be brought to the culture it is the flexibility of how to add the gasses which makes this system so advanced. Both sparger and overlay aeration are standard. 6 gassing lines are available. The Overlay line brings Air and CO2 to the headspace of the single-use CultiBag STR. The sparger line brings standard air, N2, O2 and CO2 to the sparger. Via 2 optional integrated soft buttons the N2 and O2 output can be switched between sparger and overlay depending on the application. Via this complete flexibility is offered as all gasses can go to whatever output. 6 rotameters are standard and up to 6 mass flow controllers are available as an option.
