How does the GAETA ACADEMY differ?
• The Italian Youth Orchestra and the Cherubini Orchestra consist primarily of Italians while the GAETA ACADEMY consists mainly of foreigners. • Emphasis is on giving young foreigners the opportunity to absorb and explore as much as possible of Italian and European culture which they do not have the opportunity of doing in their native countries which young Italians already possess and experience on a daily basis. • The GAETA ACADEMY by its nature fosters international understanding and cooperation and gives Gaeta (and Italy) prominence in the international cultural community. • The GAETA ACADEMY is deeply committed to enriching the cultural life of Gaeta and the surrounding areas.
