How does the Frog indicate carriage position?
It tells the position based on the stepper. For example if you go left “manually” (using the arrow keys) and stop when the cutter is, say, lined up with something, you can ask what the current position is. Kind-a-like a digital caliper. The Frog beeps positions in base 10 to keep the cost down. But most of the time you’re telling it where to go not asking where it’s at.
