How does the fitter determine the sample size (time frame)?
This is a variable which you can determine. Generally the sample size should be at least 15 seconds at the desired rider power output, but samples over longer periods of time, perhaps with varying efforts, are at your discretion. We have used samples from five seconds to five minutes in the development of the system.
