How does the first-year academic advising work?
Each new student will be assigned an academic adviser with whom they will meet during orientation. The adviser will assist the student by discussing how to register for classes and will counsel the advisee on what classes might be best to achieve the student’s academic goals. The faculty advisers are available throughout the year and have regular hours established when students can “pop in” to talk or to seek advice.
