How does the fire photographer receive calls?
I receive calls involving Saint-Hyacinthe’s Fire Department through a digital alpha-numeric pager (including special teams calls). Calls involving neighboring cities and towns within the Maskoutains MRC region are received by +400MHz radio for now. A few officers and firefighters also contact me directly by phone to inform me about farther major interventions (ex: Granby, Beloeil, etc.). Finally, I sometimes respond to some major events in the greater Montégérie region when the APAM emergency response units are requested.
