Once your fingerprint card is received in the Board Office it is sent to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). The FDLE checks for any Florida related criminal charges- a report is then sent to the Board Office. FDLE then sends the fingerprint card to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). The FBI does a nation wide check for any criminal charges a report is then sent to the Board Office.
