How does The FiberGard® System work?
The FiberGard® System takes advantage of a new chemistry called Micro-encapsulation that incorporates a combination of polymers, co-polymers, fluorochemicals, resins, and suffactants that work in unison to provide a safe, much longer lasting barrier that protects against oil and water-based staining compounds. The key to The FiberGard® System is that FiberGard® actually penetrates directly into the treated fiber, as opposed to just coating the surface. This allows FiberGard® to provide an enhanced barrier of protection from potential staining agents. Additionally, this exclusive formula also adds enhanced protection from UV rays and flammability, as well as strengthening the actual fiber, providing longer wear.
