How does the Federation work?
Sixth Form students are based at one of the five Federation schools, where they follow their core programme which, at Lyng Hall, consists of: • Citizenship • Key Skills • Enrichment Activities They are then able to decide upon their chosen programme of study from the subjects available at any of the schools within the Federation and from a limited range of subjects offered at Henley College.Students choosing to study one or more subjects at another school will be transported to the appropriate venue by taxi (free of charge). Not only does the Federation arrangement enhance the number of subject choices available to students, but it also provides students with the opportunity to experience new surroundings and meet new people, whilst at the same time, retaining the personal and academic support and encouragement of the excellent Sixth Form tutor team and the Sixth Form teaching staff at Lyng Hall.
