If you are awarded a Federal Direct Stafford Loan at UF, please be aware that before you can receive your funds you must complete three requirements: • complete an electronic Master Promissory Note at studentloans.gov • complete a first-time borrowers Entrance Counseling session at studentloans.gov • you must “accept” the funds awarded to you.
