How does the family normally dress?
Though Costa Rica is not a rich country, but people always take care to be well dressed when they go out in public. All clothes are ironed, sometimes even underwear! It would be a good idea to leave your torn clothes at home even if they are your favorites. Bring comfortable clothes and shoes for school and travel and something nice for a night on the town or a business meeting.
