How does the Fair-Go Proxy Bidding System work?
As its name implies, the Fair-Go Proxy Bidding System gives everybody an equal footing to win a reward auction item regardless of how long they have been a member of SMSPup. Unlike some reward programs which disadvantage new members, SMSPup reward auctions allow bidders to submit bids using only the points they have accumulated for the 3 month period prior to the auction item’s nominated close date. This puts members who have been on the system for a long time on an even playing field with new members. Typically auctions will be promoted for one month before bidding commences to allow members the opportunity to accumulate points prior to the date that the auction is open for bids.
