How does the extended warranty differ from the limited warranty?
A. The extended lifetime warranty covers 2 year electronic lock, lifetime mechanical lock, lifetime paint against rust, , and lifetime on the workmanship of the safe. The limited warranty allows 1 years coverage on the lock and 5 years on paint against rust. In addition, should your safe ever have to be returned to the factory for rework, Heritage would bear all freight costs under the extended warranty. With the limited warranty, the customer is responsible for shipping to the factory, and Heritage will cover return shipping. The extended warranty is offered for $149.00, payable to the factory. Whichever warranty coverage you choose, be sure to register your safe within 15 days of purchase.
