How does the Environment Agency fit in?
The Environment Agency agrees to support community Flood Wardens by: • Issuing flood warnings to the Flood Warden • Facilitating and supporting the scheme • Offering advice and information • Facilitating local meetings • Promoting Health and Safety • Providing wardens with a copy of a Flood Warden scheme Folder, a hi-visibility jacket, roles and responsibilities booklet and medical health declaration form.
