How does the election system work?
What is the role of the Supreme Court? Is it fair to have affirmative action programs? These are some of the questions we are asked in our discussions. The Speakers Bureau of the U.S. Mission in the Netherlands provides Dutch schools, clubs and other organizations the opportunity to meet Embassy and Consulate staff to learn more about the United States. We can share the U.S. perspective on a wide range of governmental, political, social or cultural issues, such as the legal system, education, volunteerism, history, arts & culture, food, schools, sports, business, economy, diversity, and affirmative action. We also can discuss the U.S. government position on policy issues. These are only a few of the possibilities. Our goal is to address the topics you find interesting and important.
