The Earth’s rotation causes a day, because when it rotates, and it’s day time, then one half of the Earth is facing the sun, and one half is facing the mooon. When it’s in the sun, it rotates, and then, it’s night time. After that, when it goes to the moon all the way, then it’s a new day.
