Drawtex® works very well on these type of wound barriers. Note: When high volumes of exudate are present, apply Drawtex® directly onto the wound. If not, use a non-adherent layer first. The secret is to layer Drawtex® onto the wound in 3-4 layers, then covering it with a “film” dressing, e.g. Opsite™. Leave the Drawtex® wound dressing in place for 48 hours before replacing the dressing, by now Drawtex® will have started natural autolysis of the wound.
