How does the downloading process work in BOLT?
When you initiate a download, you are transferring a file from the Internet to your device. You can choose to Save or Open the selected file. If you select Open, BOLT works with native browser to launch the relevant application for viewing the content. If you select “Save”, you can choose the storage location using the “Save To” option. Depending on the read/write permissions set for the selected directory, your device may allow you to save the file to the specified location. You can confirm or cancel the download. Once the download is complete, BOLT displays the content type and size of the file.
When you initiate a download, you are transferring a file from the Internet to your device. In devices supporting multitasking, such as Nokia Series 60, BlackBerry, and many other higher-end phones, BOLT suspends the browser mechanism, transfers the link to the native browser, and runs in the background while the file is downloading. For older and lower-end devices BOLT may be forced to exit the browser to initiate the download.
