How does the doctor keep up to date on all of the current techniques and materials?
Dr. Shem-Tov is a clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. Like all dentists in Canada, Dr. Shem-Tov is extensively educated and trained and he follows the latest research in his field. He loves acquiring the latest technology and takes the time to train and learn about these tools before implementing them into his practice. He is also a member of several organizations and study clubs which encourage him to stay up-to-date on current research. If you have heard about new technology or research, ask Dr. Shem-Tov. He’ll be happy to talk to you about what he’s studying.
Drs. Calvano and LaGrua subscribe to the latest industry journals to keep informed about research and development in the dental industry. They also make time for continuing education, and always surpass the requirements of the state of Virginia. As a team and as individuals, we believe it is our responsibility to our patients to be familiar with the latest techniques and materials available.
Dr. Sciantarelli is extensively trained, but because dentistry is constantly changing, he does a number of things to stay up to date on all of the current findings.
