How does the doctor keep up to date on all of the current techniques and materials?
Dr. Suh attends 250 hours of continuing education a year – more than ten times the required amount. He is also a graduate of the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute and of the entire Esthetic Epitome at the Nash Institute of Dental Learning. In addition to his commitment to continuing education, Dr. Suh has helped teach hundreds of dentists in the most up-to-date clinical techniques. He is a clinical instructor at the University of North Carolina Dental School’s residency program and at the Nash Institute of Dental Learning.
Our doctors are highly trained, but because dentistry is constantly changing, we do a number of things to stay up to date on all of the current findings. We frequently attend continuing education courses that focus on research in cosmetic, restorative, and preventative dentistry. The doctors and members of our staff also belong to a variety of organizations that offer seminars and conferences on changes in dentistry.
Dr. Williams is committed to staying up to date with the latest dental techniques and materials to ensure that he is providing the best possible services to his patients. He takes over 50 hours of continuing education credits each year (the District of Columbia only requires 25 hours every two years). He is a graduate of the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and has been active in the Implant Society of Northern Virginia and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. White subscribes to the latest industry journals to keep tabs on research and development in the dental industry. He also takes time on a regular basis for continuing education, and ensures his staff does the same. As a team and as individuals, our office makes it our responsibility to be familiar with the latest techniques and materials available.
In terms of quality and quantity, our doctors deliberately pursue the finest continuing education courses available. In addition, they attend more of these courses than is required by mandate of the state dental board. This is done for their own professional development as well as to fulfill their commitment to their patients to offer them the finest, most up-to-date treatments available.
