How does the doctor keep up to date on all of the current techniques and materials?
Dr. Reardon subscribes to the latest industry journals to keep updated on research and development in the dental industry. He also attends continuing education courses on a regular basis and encourages his staff to do the same. We believe it is our responsibility to our patients to be familiar with the latest techniques and materials available.
Dr. Rothenberger is committed to continuing education. He attends four to six courses a year on cosmetic dentistry, orthodontic dentistry, and new materials. That is 60100 hours a year in continuing education, when only 1015 hours is required. Dr. Rothenberger also ensures that each staff member attends at least two 2- to 3-day seminars in our areas of expertise, so that as a team were familiar with the latest techniques, materials, and technology available, which all results in long-lasting benefits for our patients. Dr. Rothenberger also subscribes to the latest industry journals to keep tabs on research and development in the dental industry. He invites experts in the field to come and provide personal instruction to our staff, and he belongs to a local study club that provides peer consultation and review of difficult cases.
Although he received his dental degree in 1985, Dr. Tartagni has since taken thousands of hours of continuing education because he believes his schooling should not stop after graduation. Dr. Tartagni has also taken numerous courses at the New York University College of Dentistry, where he studied laser therapy and electrosurgery, tooth-colored restorations, soft tissue surgery, osseous surgery, ceramic restorations, and clinical diagnosis. He has also attended many other courses at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, Tufts University, Infonet Academy, AGD Connecticut, Medsafe, Inc., Pro-Dentec, American Society for Clinical Research, Vantage Institute, Practical Endodontics, Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, and the University of California School of Dentistry.
Dr. Wolfram takes many hours of continuing dental education each year. He is also a member of several professional dental organizations that provide continuing education opportunities to members. The members of Dr. Wolfram’s dental team also take many continuing education classes, and are up to date with all of their certifications and licenses.
