How does the doctor keep up to date on all of the current techniques and materials?
Dentistry is constantly evolving, so we do a number of things to stay up to date on all of the current research. We are active members of a variety of organizations at local, national, and international levels in order to provide a continuum of lifelong learning and education in oral healthcare. These organizations include the Greater Loudoun Study Club affiliated with the Seattle Study Club, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. We frequently attend continuing education courses that focus on research in all aspects of cosmetic, restorative, and preventive dentistry. We are committed to providing our patients with the best care possible.
Dr. Henry believes that continuing education is an important part of his practice and logs over 120 hours of continuing education per year. Additionally, both dentists are active members of a number of professional dental associations. As a team and as individuals, our office learns about the dental techniques and materials that will improve your experience in our practice.
Dr. Kitzmiller keeps tabs on recent research and development in the dental industry by subscribing to the latest industry journals. Him and his staff also take time on a regular basis for continuing education. As a team, and as individuals, our office makes it our responsibility to stay updated and be familiar with the latest techniques and materials available.
