Understanding Deadband %In the Communicator EXT software, the users can customize the DNP object map. From Analog Input data (Object 30), Analog Event data (Object 32) can be created by its Deadband percentage. Deadband percentage values set the limit for event data. This Deadband percentage value can be calculated from the Full Scale value. The following example will explain the usage of Deadband percentage.Example: The Nexus® 1252 meter has the following setup in the programmable settings.
