How does the DNA differ from other network-based storage system?
For most normal storage operations, the DNA will appear similar to other currently available systems, although the detailed aspects of the functionality may differ slightly. However, unlike other systems, it is anticipated that the DNA will contain a set of interoperable repositories run by independent parties operating under policies that allow a user of one repository to easily move his or her information to another repository in the DNA, or to use other repositories for backup of selected information. Many other important and innovative features of the DNA will become apparent with use.
