The Directrec DR-1000 features a USB cable so that it can interface with a computer. When the DR-1000 is connected to a USB port or hub on a computer – or on a network device accessible to a computer, the DSS Player software launches. From the main window, click the File menu, then New File, to display the Remote Edit-Dictation window.
