Favourably, as long as it is spent doing something of benefit e.g. working, travelling etc. When applying you should indicate on your UCAS form that you wish to be considered for deferred entry and state why. If you decide after getting your ‘A’ level results that you want to take a year out and you have not applied for deferred entry, you will be required to reapply through UCAS. In such instances we can not guarantee that you will be made an offer the second time round.
