How does the deductible amount get paid?

The Unemployment Tax Division (UTD) will bill each participating employer monthly for all workers compensation costs paid on a injury incurred while the employer is participating in the Deductible Program, until the amount of the per-injury deductible is reached. The employer must reimburse UTD within 45 days from the date the bill is mailed, in full. An employer failing to reimburse UTD within the 45 day time period will result in the employers immediate withdrawal from the Deductible Program.
