How does the decision-making process in the WTO work?
Unlike some other international organizations which operate on the basis of “weighted voting” (the bigger the share in the capital, the more votes a country has), the WTO maintains the principle of “one country-one vote”. Therefore, from the legal point of view, a least-developed country has the same voting power as an industrialized nation.
