The CTE: • solicits ideas from the faculty and coordinates the first meeting. • offers a comfortable environment for collegial discussion and exploration. • provides computer access and media support. • funds items such as books, resources materials and local travel. How can a faculty member become part of a Faculty Learning Circle? • Any faculty member may suggest a topic of interest. • The CTE Director explores the suggested topic with the faculty member. • An invitation to join the group is sent to the faculty at large. • The CTE arranges and coordinates the initial meeting of interested faculty.
