How does the Counseling Department help to prepare students for the college application process?

• In addition to meeting with students individually to answer their questions and advise them, counselors visit classrooms to give presentations regarding preparation for standardized testing, test interpretation, career and college research, and the college application process. The above mentioned Parent Night presentations are an important part of this process. • Rosary’s Career Center is open before, during, and after school hours. It is staffed by our Career Center Coordinator and Counseling Assistant who are available to answer questions and assist students in their college and career research, as well as the application process. Parents are welcome (and encouraged!) to visit the Career Center. • All are invited to use the Counseling Department link on the Rosary web page, where pertinent information is displayed and numerous appropriate links are offered. Juniors and seniors receive printed newsletters presenting timely information; these are also available on our website.
