the difference is the guarantee that you have to be reimbursed or get a replacement from these different venues when you didn’t received your product in good condition. In eBay you need to relay in reviews knowing that ebay wil not help you actively if something goes wrong. In amazon marketplace, customers often does not realise that they are buying from merchants and they think that Amazon customer service will be there if they need it. When the transaction goes well, consumer is not seeing any difference beisdes price.
