The terms of reference for the First Nations Education Council, SD#91, including mandate, goals and membership, is attached. Most areas within School District #91 have an Aboriginal Education sub-committee. They meet regularly in Fort St James, Vanderhoof and Burns Lake. Each consists of the Education Coordinator from each band and principals and Aboriginal staff of the local schools. Schools and Aboriginal communities in Fraser Lake and Fort Fraser and Southbank meet on a school-to-Nation as needed basis.
